Tarifa

Little story about you

Italian living in Tarifa since 2011, after a radical lifestyle change. Since then I discovered windsurfing in waves. Here in Tarifa I hit the water every time I can and enjoy every moment. I travel as much as possible to find good waves conditions and train, because I love it and because I started competing in the PWA Wave Tour, which is already a dream made true. And now I want to get better at it!

Pro tips

What do you like about the Purelip 2018?

“My favorite sail for both waveriding and jumping. What I like the most of the Purelip is the big range it covers, thanks to the outhaul and downhaul rigging options. When changing the trimming it literally feels like a smaller or bigger sail size. I’m lightweight and I find the Purelip 2018 the perfect classic wave sail. I use it in every conditions because of my lightweight. For a heavier rider, the choice between Purelip and Wavescape (the 4 batten sail) must be based on the spots and usual sailing conditions. For example, for off / side off / side winds the Wavescape is the perfect sail, but if you need power to pass the shorebreak with side on winds, the Purelip might be the better option.”

What do you like about the Oxygen 2018?

“I’ve been sailing with the Oxygen 2018 quite a lot during the photo shooting this year, this year the sail is super comfortable, stable, allows easy planning and helps in the turns. It matches perfectly with a classic freewave board. It’s lighter than a wave sail of the same size, and this makes it more maneuverable. The perfect sail when I want a relaxed sailing session, have fun and ride easy on the typical Tarifa summer conditions: medium to light winds and choppy.”
